For many "Bible believing" Christians the story about the Anglican Diocese invitation for LGBT members (Lesbian, Gay, Bi and Transvestites) to become priests might seem like a shock.  However, it should serve as an indicator of the spiritual decline of Christian influence on the West. This is the result of undermining the value of God's WORD to those who are in the church. Jesus actually told us this would happen in the last days. So these events are similar to the bird in the coal mine, the reason coal miners keep birds in the mine is because they will die if there is toxic gas present, this give the miners time to get out before they die also.

When leadership in the church is shallow and  worldly it will follow the dictates of the crowd, it abdicates its leadership and becomes a follower. This is what we are seeing in the Anglican church here. 

We really do not have to look too far from the start of the Church age to see how this happens. Jesus in the the book of Revelation in chapters 2-3, writes to the Seven churches in Asia; Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamos, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia and Laodicea. He addresses the leaders of these churches, to the Church of Thyatira he condemns their allowing Jezebel to lead. She was using sexual immorality (LGBT etc) to lead people astray.   Apostasy and falling away from the Words of Jesus was already present within 60-years of the Cross.  Jezebel codified sexual sin, much in the same the church is doing today, so we should not be surprised.  I am sure she made it sound very spiritual and pleasing to God as she lured people into her web of deceit. 

²⁰ Nevertheless, I have this against you: You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophet. By her teaching she misleads my servants into sexual immorality and the eating of food sacrificed to idols. ²¹ I have given her time to repent of her immorality, but she is unwilling. ²² So I will cast her on a bed of suffering, and I will make those who commit adultery with her suffer intensely, unless they repent of her ways. ²³ I will strike her children dead. Then all the churches will know that I am he who searches hearts and minds, and I will repay each of you according to your deeds.

²⁴ Now I say to the rest of you in Thyatira, to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets, ‘I will not impose any other burden on you, ²⁵ except to hold on to what you have until I come.’ Revelation 2:20-25

Ultimately God uses the Churches obedience to Jesus Christ and His WORD as the true test of sincere faith. Anybody can claim to believe, but true faith will have fruits of obedience, not rebellion. The fact that some of the church will fall away is also foretold in the parable of the 10-virgins, 5 are wise and 5 are foolish. The foolish ones go to the market place for oil and they miss the coming of the Bridegroom (Jesus). In the same way, the Anglican church here is going to the market place of the world for its oil, they are turning away from the words of Christ. Notice in the Parable of the Ten Virgins told by Jesus,his reply to them was "I Don't Know You", wow, imagine preparing your whole life to be priest, the dollars and the time you spend, the dedication and in the end Jesus says "I Don't Know You".

Anglican Church and other self-deceived Christians this should be a warning to you, do not waste your time, if you are going to fall away and reject the words of Jesus, he will reject you in the end. Turn to the LORD, obey his world and stop listening to the non-sense of the culture, stop being an instrument of Satan as Jezebel was in Thyatira. Jesus warns you "Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour". 

The Parable of the Ten Virgins

25 “At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. ² Five of them were foolish and five were wise. ³ The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them. ⁴ The wise ones, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps. ⁵ The bridegroom was a long time in coming, and they all became drowsy and fell asleep.

⁶ “At midnight the cry rang out: ‘Here’s the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!’

⁷ “Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps. ⁸ The foolish ones said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.’

⁹ “‘No,’ they replied, ‘there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.’

¹⁰ “But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut.

¹¹ “Later the others also came. ‘Lord, Lord,’ they said, ‘open the door for us!’

¹² “But he replied, ‘Truly I tell you, I don’t know you.’

¹³ “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.
